What causes an account's status to be "Blocked"?

I created an account, and its initial status was “Activated”. But sometimes this account’s status became “Blocked” automatically, I don’t know what causes it, where can I find an explanation of this issue? For example, if you enter incorrect passwords for more than three times, the account will be locked, etc.

Accounts get blocked if you enter the wrong password 5 times in a row:
