R Studio in Hopsworks

There seems to be a SparkR kernel in Jupyter Notebook. Would it be possible also to have an RStudio Server in parallel to the Jupyter Notebook server in the future? Some of the data scientist in our organisation demand to use R for the feature engineering.

I am looking forward to your thoughts on this matter.

Hi @Yingding, integrating RStudio is something we are working on and its already in the pipeline. However, its not in the most prioritized items yet.
