Managed.hopsworks.ai IP whitelist

Is it possible to provide an IP source address range so that calls from managed.hopsworks.ai can be whitelisted. I’m not wild about fully opening the master node to * on the internet

Hi @Dan

At this time we can’t provide you with a list of IPs to whitelist. The application is behind CloudFront which is distributed. We are looking into alternatives though as there might be other users will similar request.

For the moment, what you can do is allow traffic on the required ports, create the cluster and then remove the rules from your security group. The drawback is that you will have to manage users in Hopsworks separately.

You’re right it’s not a train smash.

I could add the CLOUDFRONT ranges from https://ip-ranges.amazonaws.com/ip-ranges.json.

Would you mind providing me with the region you run from and I can test.
