Is it possible to change the head node after you created the cluster? (Uses Azure)
If yes, how do I do it?

Hello Fredrik,

I assume by alter head node you mean changing its instance type. If so, It is not supported at the moment and you need to create a new cluster instead.

Yes that was what I meant.

OK, then I know. I would like to start with a smaller instance that I’m able to scale up at a later date. So I think this might be a feature more people would like. No sure what I will lose in the future when I need to delete my working cluster to scale it up.

It is on the Hopsworks.ai roadmap to add the ability to change the instance type of the head node.
